The Terms and Conditions of Truffle Ceremony.com BV
- Truffle-ceremony.com B.V. is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 89318072. These terms and conditions apply to all branches of Truffle Ceremony.com
- By signing and submitting the intake form, the participant agrees to these terms and conditions.
- By booking a ceremony, service or session through the website and submitting the intake form, the participant places an official booking request. Truffle Ceremony.com confirms this booking, which makes the booking final.
- If the participant wishes to cancel the booking they must notify Truffle Ceremony.com in a timely manner and in writing.
Cancellation
5. Our cancellation policy: If it is not possible to attend the booked ceremony or retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, you may schedule another suitable date with Truffle Ceremony.com. If you cancel a booking up to two weeks before the ceremony, we are unfortunately forced to charge 25% of the total price of the ceremony/retreat. In this case, you will receive a refund of 75% of the total ceremony price. When canceling a booking between two weeks and one week before the ceremony date, we are unfortunately forced to charge 50%. In this case, you will receive a refund of 50% of the total price. If you cancel a booking within a week to the ceremony, we are no longer able to issue a refund. This is because we invest a lot of time in preparing for the ceremony/retreat and because an empty space cannot be filled at such short notice.
Regulations
- The participant agrees to abide by the dietary, alcohol, drug and medication requirements and preparation instructions as stated on the intake form, confirmation letter and on the website.
- If the participant is unable to attend his or her booked ceremony/retreat, a substitute may be nominated, provided the details of the substitute participant are submitted in a timely manner and approved by Truffle Ceremony.com based on the intake form.
- Truffle Ceremony.com has the right to reschedule or cancel the ceremony/retreat. The participant will be notified via the contact information provided on the intake form. In case of cancellation on our part, the amount paid will be refunded to the participant. Further liability claims and damage claims by the participant are excluded. This includes hotel rooms booked by the participant, as well as flight and/or train tickets or other form of public transportation.
Exclusion
9. Truffle-ceremony.com has the right to exclude persons from participating in a ceremony based on justifiable reasons.
10. By following our guidelines prior and during the ceremony, you will embark on a spiritual journey. However, we cannot guarantee your trip and how this trip will go. This is different for everyone.
General conditions: liability
- Truffle Ceremony.com will ensure the proper and orderly conduct of the ceremony/retreat and provide proper care before and after the ceremony. This applies to all branches of Truffle Ceremony.com.
- Participation in a ceremony/retreat is entirely at your own risk. Truffle Ceremony.com is not liable for injury and/or damage of any kind resulting from the participant’s stay and/or activities, nor for loss or damage to property.
- Complaints should be made in writing to Truffle Ceremony.com with reasons. The complainant will receive a response within 14 days.
Medical disclaimers
- The truffle ceremonies, retreats and events as offered are intended to aid in emotional, personal and spiritual development and not to replace medically necessary treatments or therapies. Therefore, always discuss physical and/or psychological complaints with a qualified physician.
- Prior to the truffle ceremony, report to the ceremony leader any physical complaints or if you need extra help.
Changes in programming ceremony/retreat
16.Truffle Ceremony.com has the right to make changes to the programming of a ceremony/retreat/event, for example when a ceremony leader is unable to perform the ceremony (anymore) due to illness, relocation, pregnancy or other circumstances. Truffle Ceremony.com will provide a professional and comparable quality substitute in that case. Participants will be informed of this prior to the start of the ceremony/retreat.
Terms and Conditions: House Rules
- Our locations are smoke-free except for the designated smoking area. Drug use, alcohol consumption and use of self-brought psychedelics are not permitted throughout the stay.
- Respect for every human being regardless of religion, beliefs, orientation, gender and development is our most important core value. Truffle Ceremony.com is respectful to all participants and expects participants to be respectful to each other and the environment as well.
- Truffle Ceremony.com has chosen its locations with care to provide participants with a safe and livable environment during their stay. Therefore, treat the sites and its surroundings with care. Together we take care of the beauty, purity and coziness. Any damages may be recovered from the perpetrator.
During the ceremony
20. Participants who do not comply with the terms and conditions or house rules, or do not follow the instructions of the staff/volunteers Truffleceremonie.com may be removed from the ceremony/retreat/event/location. This does not entitle the participant to a refund.
21. The making of video/film or sound recordings during the stay and ceremony is allowed only with the prior consent of Truffle Ceremony.com and the other participants.
22. All agreements concluded and work performed by Truffleceremonie.com shall be governed by Dutch law. The court in the district of the location of Truffle Ceremony.com is the court that has jurisdiction over disputes arising from this agreement.
Privacy
23. Privacy, law AVG: When entering into the agreement between your and Truffle-ceremony.com you give Truffle-ceremony.com permission to process data about you and your orders within the framework of the service to be provided. This authorization shall include: I. processing personal data present in my client file; II. providing personal data to third parties for payments, direct debits, etc; III. the taking (and use for marketing purposes) of photos and videos by Truffle-ceremony.com in which participants are unrecognizable.
