Addressing PTSD during a truffle ceremony

It really can be done!

When trauma is not processed properly, PTSD can develop. This is a psychological injury in the brain that can cause stress and anxiety, among other things.

PTSD stands for post-traumatic stress disorder. It is a stress disorder that can occur after (post) a traumatic event. One can think of war trauma, trauma following mistreatment or abuse, but also accidents or the sudden loss of a loved one.

Symptoms of PTSD

PTSD occurs when the following symptoms persist for more than one month. The following symptoms are characteristic of PTSD, however, notall of them have tooccur to you:

  • You often sleep poorly and restlessly.
  • You get angry easily or lose your temper quickly.
  • You regularly have nightmares.
  • You remember the event over and over again.
  • Sudden fluctuating emotions, sudden crying fits.
  • You are easily distracted and easily startled.
  • You are prone to addictions (alcohol, drugs, sex)

What causes PTSD?

Post-traumatic stress disorder occurs in response to a terrible event or series of traumatic events. Not every event causes PTSD and not every person gets PTSD.

Sometimes it remains a trauma stored in your system (body and mind). We then automatically cover this and it can go well for a very long time. Until day the trauma reveals itself or is touched by another event in your life. Then it can come back in full force and turn your life completely upside down.

PTSD versus trauma

Why trauma turns into PTSD scientists do not yet fully know. What is clear is that this has to do with:

  • your personality
  • the severity of the event
  • the shelter and therapy you received afterward
  • how you look back on the event

So it does not mean that you are sick, weak or nauseous, it is not a judgment that you have PTSD and another person does not. Some people process trauma differently than others.

War trauma or air disasters, incest or abuse, robbery, burglary or the sudden loss of a loved one are very profound traumas. But traumatic childbirth, surgery and long-term bullying can also cause PTSD.

Feelings

You seem to relive the event on a regular basis. Seeing, hearing, tasting, feeling, smelling; everything again exactly as you perceived it during the event. Energetically, you can also feel this event again.

You are gloomy and feel inferior.

Do you get characteristics of anxiety when you think of this traumatic event again?

Characteristics of anxiety are

  • Feeling of wanting to flee
  • Sweating
  • Higher blood pressure
  • Hurried feeling
  • Heart palpitations
  • Breathing heavily or just very shallowly
  • Trembling hands or limbs

Ideally, you avoid what reminds you of the traumatic event. As a result, the trauma is pushed even further away. Through the truffle ceremony, the trauma is allowed to come out just so it can be resolved. Of course, this is frightening but we stand by you, during this process.

Psychedelic therapy

In America, psychedelic therapy is already widely used to resolve PTSD. Veterans who could no longer function in society, who were thinking of ending their lives more often than regularly, were relieved of these negative thoughts, memories and emotions after a few psychedelic sessions and accompanying conversations. Truly groundbreaking results are being achieved.

During the Program for Transformation, under the guidance of our professional therapists, in three truffle ceremonies and nine conversations, you will delve deeper into the cause of your PTSD. This course takes a minimum of three months and can be extended for another two months.

When dealing with PTSD, it is very important to take your symptoms seriously and work step by step toward recovery. By rediscovering what activities you enjoyed and consciously doing things that encourage positive thoughts and feelings, you can improve your well-being.

Especially with complex PTSD, a targeted approach is needed to process deep emotional wounds and build a more stable life.
