When can you not participate in a truffle ceremony?
What prevents you from participating?
100% Safe
BUT NOT FOR
everyone
You cannot participate in a truffle ceremony in some cases.
Not participating in a truffle ceremony applies to some people who suffer from heart problems or those taking medications such as antidepressants, blood pressure lowering or increasing medications. If you suffer from borderline, schizophrenia and/or have psychosis, we also advise against participating in a ceremony.
If psychosis runs in your family, it may be triggered by the truffles. In fact, psychoses are genetically passed on to the next generation. To rule out these dangers, we first go through a comprehensive questionnaire so we can determine if participation is safe for you. Please call or email us if you have any questions about this.
Do not participate when you...
Unfortunately, if you are pregnant you cannot participate either, nor when breastfeeding.
When taking antidepressants.
If you take blood pressure lowering or increasing medication.
When psychosis, borderline or schizophrenia has been diagnosed in you, your father or mother.
Being allergic to mold.
Are younger than 18 years of age.
Stop taking medication?
We feel sorry for those who cannot participate in a truffle ceremony. Quitting an addiction or medication habit is the solution for many but at the same time a very big challenge. But you can’t just do this.
First consult your doctor or primary care physician about whether you can taper or (temporarily) stop taking a particular medication. In fact, for most drugs, it is life-threatening to stop suddenly. We can help you master your addiction. To this end, we wrote the Program for Transformation. Participants have stopped many addictions with this.
Some medications conflict with the psilocybin from truffles. This is one of the active substances in the truffles that will cause you to take an inner journey during the ceremony.

Quit drugs and alcohol!

Unfortunately not participating without a questionnaire
After you book one of our truffle ceremonies, retreats or Program for Transformation through the website, you will receive an email from us to an extensive questionnaire. On this questionnaire you can put all the answers concerning your life so far.
Please fill out this questionnaire truthfully so that we have a good understanding of what we can help you with. Various questions about your childhood, traumas, your birth and how you feel now will be asked of you. We also ask that you fill out your full contact information and sign this questionnaire. This questionnaire will not be shared with anyone and we fully respect your privacy.

When you cannot participate in a truffle ceremony
It is important to note that truffle ceremonies are not suitable for everyone. While truffle ceremonies can offer many benefits, there are certain situations and conditions in which participation is not recommended. Truffle-ceremony.com is committed to the safety and well-being of their participants and is happy to provide advice on when it is best not to participate.
If you suffer from severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or severe depression, participation in a truffle ceremony is not recommended. These conditions can be exacerbated by the use of psychedelics, leading to negative experiences or psychological distress.
Persons taking medication, such as antidepressants, antipsychotics or other psychopharmaceuticals, should consult with their physician before participating in a truffle ceremony. The interaction between truffles and medication can have unpredictable and potentially dangerous side effects.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women are also advised not to participate in truffle ceremonies. The effects of psychedelic truffles on fetal or infant development have not been well researched and it is best to avoid any risk.
People with severe heart problems or other serious physical conditions should also be cautious about participating in a truffle ceremony.
Truffle-ceremony.com recommends always being honest about your medical history and any medications you may be taking during the intake process. Sharing this information helps the facilitators make an informed decision about your participation and ensures that the ceremony is safe and beneficial for all involved.
Truffle-ceremony.com also offers guidance and advice for people who cannot participate in a truffle ceremony. They can help you discover other therapies and techniques suitable for your particular situation. The important thing is to find a path that is safe and effective for your personal growth. For those who cannot participate, we can organize a cocoa ceremony.
It is understandable that you may be disappointed if you cannot participate in a truffle ceremony, but it is crucial to put your health and safety first.
In some cases, it may also be helpful to wait until your situation changes or improves. For example, if you are recovering from a physical condition or have made adjustments to your medication, you may be able to participate in a truffle ceremony in the future. Patience and careful planning are essential to ensure that your experience is positive and beneficial.
There are certain situations in which it is not recommended to participate in a truffle ceremony. Truffles, like antidepressants, can have powerful effects on the mind, which can have negative consequences in some cases, especially when a person has a vulnerability to mental illness.
If you have had, for example, psychosis, schizophrenia or borderline, it is very important to think carefully about participating in a truffle ceremony. In people predisposed to these conditions, truffles can cause intense experiences that are difficult to process, which can lead to worsening of symptoms.
In addition, it is important to know that truffles do not always go well with medication, especially when the medication affects the brain, such as antidepressants or other psychopharmaceuticals. It can lead to unpredictable reactions or even dangerous interactions. Therefore, it is essential to consult with a doctor or practitioner before participating in a truffle ceremony if you are on medication that cannot be taken with psilocybin.
If you have burnout or have dealt with heavy emotional experiences in the past, you may not currently be in the right mental state to process the experience of a truffle ceremony in a healthy way. The set and setting of a ceremony should be supportive and safe, and sometimes you just need more time to recover before you can embark on such a journey.
It is also advisable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding not to use truffles, as the effects on the baby have not been well studied.
In some cases, when there is an indication that you are emotionally unbalanced or when you feel that you are not yet ready, it may be better to choose another time to participate in a truffle ceremony. It is important to take good care of yourself and wait for the right timing.
