What are toad drops?

However, there is an important distinction: truffles are legal in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, no truffle drops may be made yet because only fresh truffles meet the legislation. Fresh psilocybin truffles may therefore not be processed into another product such as drops or chocolate. If a product comes from magic mushrooms and truffles, it is crucial to check what the source is.
Effects and risks of mushroom drops
The effects of magic mushrooms in liquid form are similar to those of traditional magic mushrooms or truffles. Users often experience a change in consciousness, heightened emotions, visual hallucinations and a sense of connection with their environment.
However, using magic mushroom drops while going out can be unpredictable. Psychedelics such as magic mushrooms can be intense and overwhelming, especially in a busy environment with a lot of stimuli. This increases the likelihood of a negative experience, also known as a bad trip.
In addition, there are some risks associated with mushroom drops:
- Dosage control: Because liquid extracts can be highly concentrated, it is difficult to dose precisely. This can lead to unexpectedly strong effects.
- Psychological reactions: People with anxiety disorders or mental vulnerability are at higher risk for negative experiences.
- Legal implications: As mentioned earlier, mushroom drops derived from magic mushrooms are illegal in the Netherlands.
Mushroom drops are an alternative way to take psychedelic substances, but they are not without risks. Products containing psilocybin, derived from magic mushrooms, are banned in the Netherlands. Only truffle-based drops could possibly be legal, but the legislation on this is not always clear.
