The spiritual view of trauma

An explanation from a different perspective

Or a spiritual view of trauma….

Apparently, we should learn from our lives as human beings, become wiser from our suffering and enjoy the joy on this planet. It is a spiritual process.

The duality between good and evil, happy and sad, love and hate and all the contradictions life has to offer us here makes this interesting for our souls.

The spiritual view of trauma

We must and can learn from our trauma when we can live through it and release it. Virtually all conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, mental illness, ADHD and physical illness are in fact trauma.

The mind reacts to an unpleasant event and stores it as negative energy. This negative energy mutates into a disease of any kind.

This gives the body a signal that you are not doing well. The spiritual body gives a warning, as it were, that you cannot continue like this any longer or the body will start getting sicker and sicker. You have to change these themes. That’s the signal.

Part of our spiritual self or not?

We are not our trauma and the trauma is not a part of us. The trauma happened to us and we may be able to put the trauma behind us. After all, trauma can be taken off just as you can take off a heavy backpack.

After all, you are lugging a heavy backpack of your trauma with you. How nice it would be if you could take off this heavy backpack and leave it behind. Your sore back passes and other ailments resolve.

Of course, we are not saying here that you can abandon any prescribed medication and choose only the spiritual path. We are talking about addressing the cause of a disease or ailment, not fighting the symptoms or manifestations of the disease.

Trauma is what bad memories do to you and to your body. It is not the memories or the pain but the surrounding emotions that you have stored. You disconnected from yourself because it was too painful to be yourself.

This makes it increasingly difficult to deal with your emotions, causing addictions to lurk, relationships to become difficult or seem impossible, and your self-image to diminish. As a result, you lose yourself more and more and disconnect yourself from your real self.

The real authentic I as you were born. That I who came to this earth with no conditioning or upbringing, no standards and values, full of unconditional love and dependence, open and beautiful, meaning in life, growing, blooming and radiant.

Emergence of trauma

As long as the trauma from our childhood remains intact, we cannot heal. As a result, childhood trauma is almost always the cause of problems later in life. Often these traumas are passed down from generation to generation.

Often these generations also do not know that they are passing on trauma until someone in the family begins to resolve it. In many families this trauma manifests itself in alcoholism, addictions, screaming mother, emotionally absent fathers, arguments, violence, abuse, neglect, lack of love, breakups or a mixture of these manifestations. All have trauma as their basis.

Long-term stress is also traumatizing. Disrupts sleep rhythm. Jet lag is so bad for the body and mind. Physical and mental stress causes diseases such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, asthma, shortness of breath, etc.

Of course, we also experience trauma when it comes to experiencing accidents, loss of a loved one, war, threats and many other memories of terrible events.

Children

When children experience a lack of love, not being held, comforted or seen, trauma occurs. Children cannot articulate this lack of love, they cannot talk about their pain, decisions are made for them that they do not want at all.

As a result, children disconnect from themselves, causing the authentic child, the original I, to fade into the background. This makes it almost impossible to properly express emotions, let alone actually feel them.

Often these emotions then express themselves in the form of anger which causes the child to be corrected by the parents. As a result, the child once again disconnects from the authentic I, and the problems and challenges increase.

Love, safety, security and space for development are so important in life and especially in childhood. Allow and teach children to deal with all their emotions and find a spiritual path in them.

Let anger exist and teach them to deal with their aggression instead of rejecting both. In fact, all emotions are part of the child, and all emotions need them to bond well with their authentic IC. With this, you can prevent future problems such as depression and illness.

Addictions have trauma as a cause

A moment before, we talked briefly about addictions. Addictions always arise from trauma in this life, a past life or from trauma from parents or ancestors. You cannot solve an addiction if you do not address the cause. This is also why we address the trauma first before dealing with the addiction.

Unconscious patterns and unconscious choices perpetuate addiction and trauma. These choices and patterns are stored in the subconscious mind. Connect with the subconscious mind during a truffle ceremony to break these patterns.

Because the conditioned mind is momentarily sidelined by the psilocybin from the truffles, deeper layers of the mind become accessible. Now you are able to break these patterns and change behaviors.

You may turn off your survival mechanism, stop your addiction because it is no longer needed. You may address your trauma and process this for good. You may break free from your trauma and addiction so that the light may shine on you again so that happiness may come your way again.

Trauma weighs on your life

Trauma weighs on your life. It takes an enormous amount of (spiritual) energy to keep pushing your pain away in order to avoid feeling it. When we allow the trauma to dissolve, a lot of life energy is released to heal us.

The truth is within us. We just need to ask the right questions, choose the right therapy and ask the right questions. During a truffle ceremony, all this is possible. We don’t say for nothing that one truffle ceremony is equivalent to 100 hours of therapy!

A path to healing and growth

Trauma is a profound experience that can affect us physically, emotionally and mentally. From a spiritual perspective, however, trauma is seen not only as a wound to be healed, but also as a gateway to growth, awareness and transformation. It is an invitation to look deeper into ourselves, embrace shadow sides and release old pain so that we can live more freely and consciously.

Many spiritual traditions believe that trauma not only manifests in our present lives, but can also be transmitted from past lives or through our family lineage. This means that certain fears, insecurities or patterns we experience may not only stem from our own experiences, but may also have a deeper, karmic origin.

Instead of seeing trauma as an arbitrary burden, the spiritual view sees it as an opportunity to clear old energetic blockages and get closer to our true essence.

Trauma often settles into our energetic body. This can lead to physical symptoms, emotional blockages or recurring negative patterns in relationships and behavior. Through consciousness-expanding methods such as meditation, breathwork, regression therapy or a truffle ceremony, these blockages can be felt through and released. In a deep state of consciousness, old wounds can come to the surface, not to overwhelm us, but to be seen, understood and ultimately healed.

When we approach trauma from a spiritual point of view, our relationship with it changes. Instead of seeing it only as something painful, we can see it as a guide on our journey of self-discovery. Living through trauma can lead to a deeper connection with ourselves, greater self-love and compassion for others.

Healing is not only a process of letting go, but also of integration. What first felt like a burden can eventually become a source of strength and wisdom. Trauma does not have to define us, but can actually lead us to a more conscious, free and fulfilled existence.
