Truffles nothing to be afraid of
A gift from nature!
Globally, there is a striking cultural shift underway with increasing acceptance among humanity for psychedelics. This cultural shift is also known as the Psychedelic Renaissance.
Globally, there is a striking cultural shift underway with increasing acceptance among humanity for psychedelics. This cultural shift is also known as the Psychedelic Renaissance.
As more and more groundbreaking research is being done on the healing properties of psychedelics, we see that truffles and mushrooms can truly serve humans.
While the coverage of psychedelics used to focus mainly on the dangers, today we are reading more and more positive studies about these plant medicines.
Finally, the war on drugs no longer focuses on psychedelics. Unfortunately, this war on drugs is not quite over as Ayahuasca, another powerful plant medicine with the active ingredient dimethyltryptamine (DMT), has been banned in the Netherlands since March 2018. Mushrooms (containing the active ingredient Psilocybin) had been banned for some time. A lifting of this ban unfortunately does not yet seem close while good results have been achieved with it.
Some people find everyday life challenging. For them, a truffle ceremony can be life-changing. Make sure you take good care of yourself. This will allow you to reduce stress. This will prevent negative experiences, such as a bad trip.
What are truffles anyway?
A truffle is the underground “storage” or fruit of a mushroom called Sclerotia. If a truffle were to grow above ground, it would receive oxygen and therefore grow into a mushroom. Both are fungi and are in between a plant, organism and an animal in terms of intelligence and function.
There are 1.5 million different fungi on Earth of which about 20,000 form mushrooms and truffles. There are six times as many fungi on earth as there are plants. In addition, there are many different kinds of mushrooms and truffles in various types, colors, shapes and luminosity. Even luminous species grow there in nature.
A gift from nature
A gift of nature which we as humans are allowed to use. The active substances are able to make new connections in our nervous system.
The Mycelia can be compared to your own nervous system that allows communication between your brain and your body. The brain sends a signal to the nervous system that instructs the muscles of your arm. This makes you move your arm.
This made walking and standing upright possible which enabled another important step in our evolution from ape to man. There is even research on the reason for eating mushrooms and truffles in this great step in evolution.

Are truffles fungi?
Fungi are the recycle organisms of this world. Everything dead they process into new nutrients for the earth and plants. People fear fungi because they are synonymous with death and destruction. Humans use many useful fungi for example during truffle ceremonies but we also use fungi for brewing beer, baking bread and making cheese.
They can break down anything made from natural materials. Fungi are already being used to fight environmental pollution because they are in fact able to break down even oil because the origin of oil was an organic material. Furthermore, many fungi have a cleansing effect.
Truffles are the underground fruits of fungi where mushrooms are the above-ground fruits. Under the ground, the fungi form a large network of threads called Mycelium (plural Mycelia). These white threads (which you can also find in a plant container) create a sclerotium or plural sclerotia for survival. These sclerotia are the truffles we use during the truffle ceremony.
Through the Mycelium, many different fungi communicate with each other but trees and plants also use this network to communicate with each other. Also, they use this network for their food supply. This is because the network determines where the nutrients go that the fungi have converted. Thus, the Mycelium controls the entire ecosystem.
Because the Mycelium connects everything, it can store the right nutrients, minerals and vitamins where it wants them. It does this, like fruit trees, for example, in the fruit. In mushrooms and truffles, the mycelium stores all the important substances. Therefore, many truffles and mushrooms have medicinal properties.
Just out of the woods?
The truffles we use for the trips and the Program for Transformation are grown with great care and attention. So our truffles do not come from the forest. In nature, you can find plenty of truffles and mushrooms. However, you must be suspicious that many species cannot be eaten by humans.
Scholars believe that all of nature’s wisdom is passed on through the Mycelia. They contain all the wisdom of the plant world and they have made all life on land possible.
Fungi and Mycelia are the oldest organisms on Earth from which all life originated. Mold is everywhere. They are in you, on your skin, in the air, on your food, really everywhere. Due to the recycling effect of fungi, they will always balance life on earth.
There are 23 monkey species on Earth that eat mushrooms and truffles. One of these ape species is man. We use these natural products not only as nutrition but also as a gateway to the higher consciousness and subconscious.
Better focus is possible, creativity, innovation, evolution etc can be achieved because the mushrooms and truffles positively stimulate the synapses in the brain.
As a result, patterns can be broken, personal growth and spirituality realized. Trauma, addictions and depression can be reversed. The active ingredient in truffles is Psilocybin and this provides the insights to do so.
